The GATEWAY Programme is a major initiative by the Mastercard Foundation and CcHUB designed to connect 340,000 young Nigerians (ages 18–35) with dignified global remote work and income opportunities. It is fully free, provides access to equipped tech hubs, and supports two specific skill tracks.
Depending on your starting point, participants are placed into pathways.

Skill Tracks: Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, and Video Production & Editing.
Duration: Typically 3 to 6 months of comprehensive training.
Growth Pathway
Target Audience: Talents and creatives who already possess one of the target digital skills but want to strengthen their portfolios.
Focus Areas: Portfolio enhancement, gig platform navigation, proposal writing, and financial management.
Duration: Typically 6 weeks to 3 months, depending on the learner's pacing.

This free session, part of a 5-year Mastercard Foundation initiative, helps young Nigerians (18–35) access global gig opportunities, focusing on high-demand skills like UI/UX, digital marketing, and video editing.
The GATEWAY program also provides support through fully equipped tech hubs across 10 Nigerian states (Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna, Kano, Abuja, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Enugu).
About the Project
“The jobs of today are no longer tied to where you live, but to what you can do. With GATEWAY, young Nigerians can earn from businesses down the road and from clients halfway across the world.”
